Best in Show: Realizing that I did not need to go spend hard earned (future screened-in porch money) on a shot of Jagermeister in order to remove the dead mouse (or bigger) from the basement. I also did not need to pay the neighborhood clean-up guy ten bucks to do it for me. After all, I removed a disemboweled chicken from the neighbor's yard (just weeks ago) afer imbibing only a cup of coffee.
Worst in Show: Driving home from work and witnessing a bunch of oblivious drivers cutting in front of a funeral procession. Can you just pay attention and be in the moment just long enough for the deceased to be laid to rest???
